How to add blog/website to Technorati

Technorati is Internet search engine for searching blogs. Having your site indexing in Technorati means more traffic and higher page rank. Technorati search blogs with keywords or tags which user search from their directory. In today's post i will show you how to add your blog or website to Technorati.

First open the Technorati website from here.


If you already have your account with them then sign in else join to create account. Once you have created account then Sign in with your account which will show your user id on top of the site.



When you will click on the id it will take you to new window which will show the detail of your profile, scroll down to find heading My claimed blogs



Here you will find URL input box and button with the name Claim. To claim your blog or website click on this button which will open following window.



Here you will find the form enter the title of your blog, enter URL of website, you can add feed URL if you have or else leave empty, Enter three blogs who are linking to you if you have or else leave it as well, enter facebook URL, Twitter account, Google Plus URL, as you scroll you will find more options



Add your site description. In site categories you can select up to 3 categories which best suit your blog or website.



Finally add some tags which you think your blog is about and click on the button Proceed to the next step. Which will submit your claim and show you your claim status.



After this you will be contacted from Technorati team for further instructions.
